The NFL is dropping the annual Pro Bowl event after 75 years. The league is scrapping the actual game, but top athletes will still be honored. Players will continue to be named as Pro Bowlers to earn their yearly recognition.
Player honors will remain intact despite the elimination of the event. However, alternates will no longer be recognized by the league. The ruling concludes the 75 year history of the annual game, but leading stars will continue getting their official Pro Bowl accolades each season.
