Hundreds of thousands demonstrated across France on Saturday. The movement was spearheaded by students in the protest, which has evolved into nationwide unrest. Reports indicate there were violent incidents, fires, and vandalism. Police used tear gas as protesters clashed. Macron told protesters, 'Let them come and get me!'. The unrest followed several weeks of young people's demonstrations that turned into broader demonstrations.
