US President Donald Trump has urged Ukraine to elect a new president, saying Volodymyr Zelenskyy should negotiate a deal with Russia to end the war.
Trump also held responsible Zelenskyy for climbing fuel costs in the United States, warning Kyiv to stop striking Russian oil refineries he claims will supply American fuel.
The statements came on 10 October 2026, the same day Britain's Prime Minister conducted a separate call with Zelenskyy, according to the UK government.
